Project- use of conventions

my magazine is fishing Sarasota and we are focusing specifically on the Sarasota area. We decided to make issues of our magazine every season.We did this because when we focus specifically on Sarasota there is only a limited amount of content to write about. But, the benefit of making our magazine specific to Sarasota is that we are covering a specific area and anyone who fish's in the Sarasota area will find this magazine useful. we followed some of the standard conventions that we saw in other magazine like we interviewed charter boat companies from the Sarasota area. This is helpful to our magazine because they are fishing almost every day and have the most useful and current information. It also doesn't cost anything to interview them because most captain will give information as long as there charter name is on the article for advertisement. In the table of contents I also put the tide table because that is used in other magazines that I have looked at. Fishing Sarasota is going to be a unique magazine because since we are focusing on a small area we can have more in depth article exclusive to Sarasota. I also put in a how to section because there is a large audience that is trying to start fishing but help with learning how to tie knots and other things.
